Honoring a Global Citizen: Jeffrey Lacker

The Global Interdependence Center is pleased to recognize Jeffrey Lacker, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, as the 2013 Global Citizen.

The Global Citizen Award is given to individuals who have provided substantial support to GIC and its mission. Recipients of this award have demonstrated in their business or personal lives a commitment to the principles set forth in our Declaration of Interdependence and have been strong advocates of GIC’s efforts to encourage the development of worldwide communities through increased knowledge, understanding and partnership.

GIC is honored to present President Lacker, a frequent speaker at GIC events, with this award.

The League’s Dress Code requires Business Casual Attire for ladies and gentlemen. Gentlemen are required to wear a collared shirt and slacks; turtleneck and mock-turtleneck shirts may be worn when accompanied by a suit jacket or sport coat. At no time are jeans, sneakers, athletic clothing, or shorts permitted. The League reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone not adhering to the Dress Code.

Former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond

Jeffrey M. Lacker served over 12 years as President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, from August 2004 to April 2017. Currently, he is a member of the Shadow Open Market Committee and a Fellow of the Global Interdependence Center College of Central Bankers.
