Energy Interdependence in the Western Hemisphere
November 11, 2015
Senior leaders from the energy sector, various governments and trade organizations in the U.S., Mexico and Canada explored three overarching themes at this full-day conference: physical and financial infrastructures of the “midstream,” new energy pricing and trade patterns and the vital ways in which Greater Philadelphia can contribute to energy interdependence in the Western Hemisphere.
Panels dove deeply into a range of sub-topics, including: the U.S. East Coast energy hub; supply chains and modes of transportation; the impacts of public policy and regulatory environments on efficient redistribution and trade; financial impacts of new energy pricing and trade patterns; regional, national, and global implications of energy interdependence; and new energy opportunities, uses and risks.
