President of the Federal Reserve Bank of ChicagoCharles L. Evans is the ninth president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. In that capacity, he serves on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the Federal Reserve System's monetary policymaking body.
Jaime Caruana
General Manager, Bank for International SettlementsJaime Caruana is, since June 2018, an independent member of the BBVA board. Previously, Mr. Caruana was General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements from the 1st April 2009 to the 30th November 2017.
José M. González-Páramo
Executive Board member, BBVAJosé M. González-Páramo holds a Ph.D., M.Phil. and M.A. in Economics from Columbia University, New York, and a Ph.D. from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 1988 he joined the Complutense University of Madrid as a professor of Economics.
Peter Praet
Member of the Executive Board, European Central BankPeter Praet joined the European Central Bank as Member of the Executive Board in 2011. He is responsible for the Directorate General Economics. Before joining the ECB, Peter Praet was Executive Director of the National Bank of Belgium (2000-2011). Here he was responsible for International Cooperation, Financial Stability and Oversight of Financial Infrastructures and Payments Systems.

Manuel Aguilera
Chief Economist, MAPFRESince October 2015, Manuel Aguilera-Verduzco is the Chief Economist of MAPFRE, the Spanish Insurance Group with business presence in more than 100 countries. Before joining MAPFRE, for seventeen years (1998-2015) Manuel Aguilera was the President of the Insurance and Surety National Commission of Mexico. In that position he was responsible for the supervision of the Mexican insurance market, and he developed an extensive experience in insurance regulatory and supervisory issues.
Manuel Balmaseda
Chief Economist, CEMEXManuel Balmaseda is the Chief Economist at CEMEX, a leading global building materials corporation. Previously he served as Chief Economist for Spain and Europe at BBVA, Chief Economist for Capital Markets at BBV, professor of economics at CEMFI and visiting researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis.
Julian Callow
Economist, Element Capital ManagementJulian Callow is Managing Director responsible for European and Chinese economic research at Element Capital LLC. Prior to that he was a Managing Director for Research at Barclays, including being Chief European Economist (2003-2012) & Chief Global Economist (2012-2014). He was also Chief Eurozone Economist at Credit Suisse (1999-03), & has also worked as an economist at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Chase (1990-92) & the Bank of England (1987-90).

As director of one of the country’s premiere forecasting centers, Dhawan develops forecasts for the U.S., Southeast regional and local metro Atlanta economies.

Executive Vice President, Director of Research, and Director of Consumer Finance Institute, Federal Reserve Bank of PhiladelphiaMichael Dotsey is executive vice president, director of research, and director of the new Consumer Finance Institute at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. As director of research, he heads a staff of economists and analysts who conduct research on macroeconomics, banking, payments, finance, and the regional economy. He serves as the Bank’s chief economic advisor, attends the meetings of the Federal Open Market Committee in Washington, D.C., with the Bank’s president, and makes regular presentations on the economy to the Bank’s board of directors.

He joined the firm in 1992, after serving for five years as senior economist with Allen Sinai at Shearson Lehman Brothers and its successor firms. Michael began his career in New York in 1982 as senior economist at A. Gary Shilling and Company. He received his B.S. in economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and did his graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Megan E. Greene
Senior Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy SchoolMegan has been a leading voice in global macroeconomics on both sides of the Atlantic for the past 15 years. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her role includes teaching and writing, and her main focus is the drivers of wage and income inequality globally.
Catherine L. Mann, Ph.D.
Member of the Monetary Policy Committee, Bank of EnglandDr Catherine L Mann joined the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England on 1 September 2021. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Economic Association, among others. Previously she was Chair of the Economic Advisory Committee of the American Bankers Association.

Currently Sr. Director of Business Development for Sanford World Clinic, Wentzy leads the on-going identification of international opportunities for partnership in health care delivery.
