Join GIC on December 4, 2024, in New York City for the College of Central Bankers Symposium focusing on Monetary Policymaking: Central Banking in a Changing World.
The College of Central Bankers (CCB) Symposium will provide a neutral, nonpartisan forum where GIC/CCB can engage, explore, and elevate the public discourse of important global monetary policy issues impacting world economies and living standards.

Currently, he is a member of the Shadow Open Market Committee and a Fellow of the Global Interdependence Center College of Central Bankers.
Dennis P. Lockhart
Former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of AtlantaDennis Lockhart’s career includes time in the private sector, government, and academia. In 2017, he stepped down from the position of president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, a position he held for ten years. In this role, Lockhart served on the Federal Reserve’s chief monetary policy body, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC). His tenure spanned the financial crisis, the Great Recession, and several years of recovery.

Alberto G. Musalem
President & CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of St. LouisAlberto G. Musalem is the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, one of the 12 regional Reserve banks in the Federal Reserve System. He began serving in the role April 2, 2024. In this capacity, he participates on the Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee, or FOMC, which meets at least eight times each year to set the direction of U.S. monetary policy. He also oversees the activities of the Eighth Federal Reserve District at its St. Louis headquarters and branches in Little Rock, Ark., Louisville, Ky., and Memphis, Tenn. These activities include economic research, fiscal agent responsibilities for the U.S. Treasury, supervision of District financial institutions, community development, and regional payments, transparency, technology and support functions.

Masaaki Shirakawa
Former Governor of the Bank of JapanMasaaki Shirakawa was previously Governor of the Bank of Japan. He was appointed as Governor in April 2008, and left the Bank in March 2013. He was also Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) between January 2011 and March 2013.

She is the former Chief Economist of Huawei Technologies, Chief Economist of the American International Group (AIG) and AIG Asset Management’s Senior Strategist and Global Head of Sovereign Research. Prior to joining AIG in 2010, Kathleen was Chief Economist at Aladdin Capital Holdings, Credit Suisse’s Head of Global Economic Research, and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette Securities Corporation’s co-head of Fixed Income economic research and Chief International Economist.
