Caleb Fundanga, Governor of the Bank of Zambia
On Oct. 14, GIC was delighted to host Dr. Caleb M. Fundanga, governor of the Bank of Zambia. Recognized as the 2007 Central Bank Governor of the Year by The Banker Magazine, Dr. Fundanga has promoted regional cooperation as the chairman of the Committee of Central Bank Governor’s of the Common Market of Eastern and Southern Africa. Zambia’s recent financial stability and decreasing inflation have been a successful testament to the strength of the Zambian economy. We thank Dr. Fundanga for speaking to the membership about the opportunities to invest in Zambia and the future of the nation’s monetary policy.
