CCB Executive Briefing in partnership with the Americas Center at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
Argentina has recently reached a long-waited agreement with the IMF, while Chile has a new left-leaning government with a new constitution in the making. In this new context, the tragic developments in Ukraine brought a spike in commodity prices that represent both an improvement in the terms of trade for these commodity producer countries, but also more price pressures in a region experiencing inflation levels not seen in decades.
Join the Global Interdependence Center’s College of Central Bankers and the Americas Center at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta for an Executive Briefing on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 to explore these themes with presenters, Jose De Gregorio, Ph.D., a CCB Fellow and Former President of the Central Bank of Chile, and Guido Sandleris, Ph.D., Former Governor of the Central Bank of Argentina. The program will include a live audience Q&A moderated by Federico Mandelman as well as additional remarks from a Member of the GIC Advisory Council, David Altig, Ph.D., and CCB Chair, Peter Gold, Esq.
