Former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of RichmondJeffrey M. Lacker served over 12 years as President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, from August 2004 to April 2017. Currently, he is a member of the Shadow Open Market Committee and a Fellow of the Global Interdependence Center College of Central Bankers.
Stefan Ingves, Ph.D.
Governor, Sveriges RiksbankStefan Ingves was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board and Governor of the Riksbank on 1 January 2006 for a term of six years. Mr. Ingves is also a member of the ECB General Council and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). He is Sweden’s governor in the International Monetary Fund.

Maciej Stanczuk
Chairman and CEO, PBP BankIn the years of 1990-1993, he was a Board Member and Chief Economist at the PBR Bank. He began his co-operation with WestLB in 1993, as head of the Department for Eastern European Affairs at WestLB AG in Düsseldorf. In 1995, as the bank opened its branch in Poland, he became Deputy General Manager of WestLB Polska (currently Polski Bank Przedsiebiorczosci S.A.). He has been Chairman of the Board and General Manager since January 2001. Before joining WestLB, he worked as an assistant lecturer at the Technische Universität in Bochum.

Prior to joining AIG in 2010, Kathleen was Chief Economist at Aladdin Capital Holdings, Credit Suisse’s Head of Global Economic Research, and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette Securities Corporation’s co-head of Fixed Income economic research and Chief International Economist.
David Kemme, Ph.D.
Professor, Department of Economics, University of MemphisDavid M. Kemme currently holds the William N. Morris Chair of Excellence in International Economics at the University of Memphis. He has served as Director of the International MBA program (1994-1997) and Chair of the Economics Department (1997). Prior to joining the University of Memphis he was a W. Frank Barton Faculty Fellow at Wichita State University (1991-1994) and Pew Charitable Trusts Scholar-in-Residence at the Institute for East-West Studies, New York (1989-1991) where he directed the Economics and Security Program.
Bill Witherell, Ph.D.
Chief Global Economist, Cumberland AdvisorsWilliam Witherell joined Cumberland Advisors as Chief Global Economist in November 2005 and became a Portfolio Manager in December 2005. He is also a Senior Consultant for Finance and Corporate Governance to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). From 1989 through September 2005, he was OECD’s Director for Financial and Enterprise Affairs. He joined the Secretariat of the OECD in Paris, France, in 1977.

Independent International Economist & GIC Board MemberPaul Horne is an active independent international market economist since retiring as a managing director and European equity market economist at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup in London. He is on the boards of the Global Interdependence Center in Philadelphia; the Committee for the Republic in Washington, DC; and the American Library of Paris Foundation.
Michael Drury
Chief Economist, McVean Trading & InvestmentsMichael Drury is the chief economist for McVean Trading & Investments, LLC. He joined the firm in 1992, after serving for five years as senior economist with Allen Sinai at Shearson Lehman Brothers and its successor firms. Michael began his career in New York in 1982 as senior economist at A. Gary Shilling and Company. He received his B.S. in economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and did his graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Andrzej Wojtyna, Ph.D.
Former Member of the Monetary Policy Committee, National Bank of PolandAfter completing his secondary school studies at XII Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace in Cracow, he took up his studies at the Cracow University of Economics. After obtaining an MA degree in 1973, he was employed as a Trainee at the Cracow University of Economics and later advanced his career there; he obtained Ph.D. in 1982, Second Doctoral Degree in 1990, and the title of Professor of Economics in 2001. Since 1992, Head of the Chair of Macroeconomics at the Cracow University of Economics.
Christopher Kwiecinski, Ph.D.
Independent EconomistChristopher Kwiecinski has been an active Independent Economist since retiring in 2010 as Research Director for Central and Eastern Europe at Credit Agricole in Paris. Prior to that he had been Director of Investments, Private Banking also at Credit Agricole. After graduating from Warsaw School of Economics (M.A.) and the University of California San Diego (Ph.D., ABD), he did post-graduate work at Indiana University in Bloomington in the area of East-West trade and finance (published in an article). After joining the private sector, he was Vice President and Senior Economist at Continental Illinois National Bank in Chicago with diversified responsibilities in international economics and finance and extensive worldwide travel. He has been a member of the Supervisory Boards of Polish subsidiaries of major French financial institutions. Mr. & Mrs. Kwiecinski live in Paris.
Alexander Kashturov
Head of Market Operations Department, Bank of RussiaAlexander Kashturov began working in 1997 as a lawyer in a small-size stock brokerage firm in Moscow. In 1998 he joined the Bank of Russia and initially worked as a lawyer for Currency Relation and Control Department. Starting from 2001 Mr. Kasturov works with the Risk Management Group of the Market Operations Department that is responsible for the risk management of the portfolio of FX reserves. Currently the Market Operations Department of the Bank of Russia implements the monetary policy operations of the Bank of Russia and manages the FX reserves. The Department comprises the Domestic Market Front-Office, Precious Metals and FX Reserves Front-Office, Risk Management Division, Market Analysis Division, and Legal Support Group.
Piotr Wiesiolek
NBP Vice President, First Deputy PresidentA graduate of the English Language Faculty of the Catholic University of Lublin. He also completed post-graduate studies, Money and Banking, at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. In the 1990s, he attended several specialist training courses in European central banks on such issues as foreign exchange reserve management, assets and liabilities management and securities markets.
Zbigniew Hockuba,Ph.D.
Director, European Bank for Reconstruction & DevelopmentDr. Hockuba received his PhD from the Foreign Trade Department of the Central School of Planning and Statistics in Warsaw (currently Warsaw School of Economics). He joined the faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw in 1980, where he obtained his postdoctoral degree and became Professor of Economics in 1997. He has been teaching since. A visiting scholar at the universities of Heidelberg, Konstanz (Germany), Oxford (UK), and other. A member of various scientific associations and editorial board of Poland's leading economic journals. He has published widely, both in professional journals and more popular media.
Nils Bernstein
Governor and Chairman of the Board, Danmarks NationalbankNils Bernstein serves as the Governor and Chairman of the Board of Danmarks Nationalbank. He is a member of the European Central Bank's General Council and the Chairman of Danmarks Nationalbank Jubilee Fund. In 1963, he received his MSc in Electro Mechanics from Copenhagen University. From 1970-1975, Mr. Bernstein was Secretary of Finance, and from 1975-1977 he served as the Secretary of Finance at the Embassy of Denmark in Washington, D.C. Nils Berstein was the Secretary of State for Finance in Denmark from 1978-1979.
