The GIC is pleased to host this virtual briefing on the promise and perils of business start-ups. The event will focus on how entrepreneurs, and college students engaging in entrepreneurial endeavors, survive and thrive in normal economic conditions and during the era of Covid-19. Join us as we welcome our speakers, Troy D’Ambrosio, Executive Director, Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute and assistant dean at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah and Noam Wasserman, Dean of Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University. This event is held in partnership with Yeshiva University and in memory of David Drelich, MD, CFP.

The Institute has guided over numerous student and faculty startup companies from idea to launch – involving students along every stage of the process.
Noam Wasserman
Dean of Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of BusinessNoam Wasserman is the dean of Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business. Before becoming dean in mid-2019, he was a professor of entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School and a chaired professor and founding director of a center at the University of Southern California.

Board Director, Switchpoint Community Resource CenterStephanie has spent the last two decades in the nonprofit sector working as a social entrepreneur and nonprofit leader where she brings a strong voice to the table to promote solutions for the most vulnerable citizens in our communities.

She has more than 30 years of experience in the financial arena.
