Livio Stracca, Ph.D.
Head of the International Policy Analysis Division in the European Central BankLivio Stracca is head of the International Policy Analysis Division in the European Central Bank. He holds a Ph.D. in economics and a postgraduate degree in European Union Law. He teaches at the University of Frankfurt J.-W. Goethe and has published extensively, mainly in monetary and international economics.

He served as Dean of LeBow (2002-2012) and under his transformative leadership the college achieved national rankings and quality milestones in research and teaching.
Massimo Rostagno
Director of Directorate Monetary Policy, ECB Directorate General EconomicsMassimo Rostagno is Director of the Directorate Monetary Policy within the ECB’s Directorate General Economics. Before joining the European Central Bank in 1998, he was a research economist at the Banca d’Italia and later desk Economist in the European Department of the IMF. He has written on the political economy of fiscal policy, on the reform of social security, on the history and theory of monetary standards, on stochastic general equilibrium macro-modelling and on monetary economics in general. He has published in the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and contributed to several other publications.

Executive Board member, BBVAJosé M. González-Páramo holds a Ph.D., M.Phil. and M.A. in Economics from Columbia University, New York, and a Ph.D. from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 1988 he joined the Complutense University of Madrid as a professor of Economics.
