WHY
Liberia has been home to significant political and economic changes within the last decade. With the conclusion of a protracted civil war, the administration of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Vice President Boakai – elected in 2005 – has installed vast economic reforms, making the country increasingly attractive for foreign direct investment. This event will provide rare access to one of the leaders enacting these changes.
