Timo Viherkenttä is the Chief Executive Officer of the 18 billion euro State Pension Fund of Finland (VER) as of 2015. He is a Doctor of Laws (University of Helsinki). He started his career as an academic at the University of Helsinki, and, inter alia, served as Professor of Tax Law. Later he held several positions at the Ministry of Finance, including Director General for Budget and Permanent Under-Secretary.
