Jim Cunha is senior vice president of the Treasury and Financial Services Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. His group’s responsibilities include cash processing, payments/mobile strategies, and wholesale payment operations. The group is also responsible for a payment business for the U.S. Treasury’s Stored Value Card. Cunha is leading the Boston Fed’s applied research into distributed ledger technologies in financial services and studies digital currencies.
