Dr. Kathy Baylis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois. Dr. Baylis helps stakeholders design agricultural, conservation, and trade policy to promote ecosystem preservation and international food security. She assesses the effectiveness of interventions and their consequences for global food security, the environment, and social welfare.
