Before joining GIC in February 2013, Amanda was a staff writer at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. While at Wharton, Amanda wrote and edited a variety of engagement and development materials and served as associate editor of Wharton Magazine. Prior to Wharton, Amanda worked in marketing and communications at The Penn Fund, the University of Pennsylvania’s largest annual fund.
Amanda earned her master’s degree in political science from The George Washington University and her bachelor’s degree in international relations from Ursinus College. While at Ursinus, Amanda indulged her passion for international dialogue through model United Nations, and she continued her involvement after college – helping to lead model UNs and APECs in New York, Washington, D.C. and Guangzhou, China.
