Prior to his becoming executive director of GIC, Ben spent the past ten years of his career in the capital markets, working for American exchanges in corporate development and strategic planning roles. During his tenure at Nasdaq, he served as the president of the NASDAQ OMX Futures Exchange (NFX), as well as vice president of strategy & US futures. At the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, he served as the first vice president of corporate development, where in addition to his corporate development responsibilities, he led government relations for the exchange.
Ben has a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Arts from Birmingham-Southern College.
